Human–Computer Interaction
We design human-centered interactive systems that connect people, intelligent technology, and meaningful real-world experiences.
✨ We design intelligent and immersive technologies that understand, support, and interact with people ✨
About Our Lab
The HCI Lab at Daegu University investigates how intelligent technologies can understand, support, and collaborate with people.
Our research combines human–computer interaction, virtual and extended reality, artificial intelligence, and physiological computing. We design interactive systems for vocational training, rehabilitation, healthcare, education, and immersive social experiences.
What We Explore
We design human-centered interactive systems that connect people, intelligent technology, and meaningful real-world experiences.
We explore immersive interfaces for vocational training, rehabilitation, healthcare, and collaborative environments.
We develop intelligent systems that understand human behavior through physiological, visual, and auditory signals.
Updates
Our lab, as a collaborative research partner, participated in the project "Development of a Life Story Program for Older Adults and an AI-Based Life Story Program" (Principal Investigator: Prof. Seunghwa Jeon, Kyungpook National University; National Research Foundation of Korea Global Humanities and Social Convergence Research Group). The project received the Grand Prize in the Humanities category at the 2026 Public Impact Research Achievement Awards, organized by the National Research Foundation of Korea.
